Good Dog Stay covers North Cheshire
and surrounding areas.
Following your contact we will arrange an informal meeting to discuss your pet's
needs and explain our
services more fully.
We find that it is less upsetting for both pet and owners if they part company on
their own doorstep. When you are ready to go away we will collect your pet,
together with their favourite toys, bedding etc, in a fully insured vehicle and
deliver directly to the host family.
During your absence we will arrange to provide you, where possible, with regular
updates on your pet's holiday away from home.
On your return we will deliver your pet to your own home at the agreed time.
Your Pet:
Medication and Medical History
In the interests of safety, the health and medical well-being of your pet, as well as those of our
other clients and hosts, it is vital that we have sight of fully up to date
vaccination certificates and other appropriate records before collection.
If
your pet is receiving medication we will discuss the problem, symptoms, and
treatments at our initial meeting. These will be recorded and, together with
details of your vetinary practice, passed to the chosen host family.
Please note
that bitches in season, or about to come into season, cannot be accepted for our
services.
Dietary Needs
It will be an advantage to your pet if you supply all
the regular food, plus any supplements, and usual feeding and drinking bowls.
Quantities and times of meals will be also be recorded at our initial meeting
and passed to the chosen host family.
Character
Large dogs do not necessarily
present us with a problem. It is much more important that we are given clear
information on any negative characteristics such as nervousness and noisiness.
